What we do

At Easyserv, we work to optimize energy use in Swedish households and contribute to a sustainable future. Through smart control of heat pumps, we can save energy, reduce costs and strengthen the stability of the electricity grid. We offer solutions that make it possible for home owners and electricity companies to take part in the green transition together and contribute to more efficient energy use.

Power balancing

Sweden's electricity grid faces major challenges with power and frequency balancing, especially as energy consumption is expected to increase. Through our partnerships with local and regional electricity companies, we can create a solution that benefits both the grid and the end customer.

We make it possible for the electricity companies to balance the power withdrawal at the far end of the electricity grid, which not only contributes to stability but also qualifies them for compensation from Svenska Kraftnät. If we manage to reduce energy use by 5% on average for all heat pumps in Sweden, it means a saving equivalent to a wind farm with around 120 turbines.

  • Low cost of implementation
  • Minimal environmental impact
  • Fast starting distance for power balancing

The house as an energy store

We use the thermal inertia of your house to create a local energy store. By storing and optimizing the use of the heat that is already in the property, your home functions as a heating battery.

Our advanced algorithms control the operation of the heat pump based on :

  • Electricity price
  • Capacity in the power grid
  • Indoor climate
  • The house's unique conditions

Compared to traditional home batteries, Easyserv is a more environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative. Our solution is compatible with 94% of Sweden's 1 million heat pumps and takes only 10 minutes to install.

Flexibility of consumption

Sweden's energy consumption is expected to more than double by 2045. Expanding the electricity grid or investing in large-scale battery solutions is costly and time-consuming. Here, Easyserv offers a fast and efficient solution.

We use already installed equipment and existing infrastructure to create consumption flexibility, making it possible to quickly meet demand without large investments.

  • With 200,000 connected heat pumps, we can regulate power equivalent to a nuclear power reactor.
  • If all 1,000,000 heat pumps in Sweden were connected, we could correspond to the capacity of five nuclear power reactors .
