Öresundskraft and Easyserv have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop solutions for energy-smart homes. The collaboration aims to combine Öresundskraft's expertise in energy services with Easyserv's innovative products and services for controlling heat pumps.
Together, we will offer our customers an opportunity to save money and be climate smart while contributing to a more efficient use of the energy system.
The energy-smart home - reducing costs and climate impact
Innovative solutions for optimizing the operation of heat pumps, based on current spot prices, allow households to reduce their energy costs for heating and hot water while steering energy use towards more favourable periods for the grid. Customers are also supported in managing future power tariffs where the balance between power used and spot price becomes important.
Renewable electricity from self-generated sources such as solar panels and batteries can be used for home heating and water heating, benefiting both households and the energy system as a whole.
Efficient use of resources - for more stable electricity networks and increased resilience
At a time when electricity demand is increasing and the load on electricity grids requires resilience, this collaboration provides new opportunities to use domestic heat pumps as a flexible resource for the local and national electricity grid. By aggregating and controlling household heat pumps when electricity demand is highest, the grid can be relieved and the use of existing resources optimized - a measure that is particularly valuable during cold periods and periods of high electricity prices.

With this collaboration, Öresundskraft and Easyserv are taking a big step towards developing the energy-smart home of the future, where customers get control and overview of their energy costs while making a contribution to a more sustainable energy system.
